GEMARA:
EIN OMDIN:

Perek EIN OMDIN presents as a logical follow-on to TEFFILAT HA'SHACHAR - and in some cases can be used an alternative.

In contrast to Tefillat Ha'Shachar, the focus of this perek will be on the preparedness one might wish to have in their communication with God.

In the first 3 units we will explore the interface between TEXT and MIDRASH as the Gemara reinterprets the story of Channa and her desire to bear a child.

A similar process will be undertaken in the next 3 units as we study the TEXT of Shemot perek 32 dealing with the EGGEL along with MIDRASH interpretations provided by the Gemara. The relationship between the TZADIK (Mosheh) and God is the sub-plot to these units

The final units will concern themselves with the evolution of the NUSACH - the concepts were deemed acceptable for inclusion into the Siddur and those which were excluded due to their potential for misinterpretation and abuse by belief systems that rejected the Mesorah as defined by the Tannaim / Amoraim
